I thought it might be a problem with the 180 frontiere. Unfortunately the fishery I work on (orange roughy) is mostly caught exactly across this frontiere, it would not make much sense to stop at the 180 line. But I will do so 'for exercise' anyway. Let me know when or if you can fix this problem, I think it might be important for future users who look at fisheries worldwide. Thanks for your help. We will ask for this problem. Can't you start in a first time by ending your area at 180¡Æ? Cheers, Youen Viktoria Kahui a e'crit:
Hi
I am a new user and I am trying to input coordinates for the fishery area boundaries (5.2.2 Fishery area characteristics). I am inputting longitude coordinates that straddle the time line and experience problems when trying to input for example Min.Lon. 170, Max.Lon -171. My grid disappears. If, however, I input Min.Lon. 170 and Max.Lon 189 it works and I get the area of grids covered I want. The problem then is that when I try to define the cells in the next command (5.2.3 Cells), ISIS doesn¡¯t let me click on any of the cells beyond lon 180.
Does anyone know what I am doing wrong?
Thanks Viktoria
